The Southern Sunshine Coast boasts a laid back, rural charm within proximity to BC’s largest metropolis. It’s the best of both worlds, with the ability to be in the city in the morning and in a quiet, coastal neighbourhood in the afternoon. This coastal paradise is located just 45 minutes from Horseshoe Bay, 90 minutes from downtown Vancouver, and two hours from Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

Multiple transportation options can get you where you need to go—whether that means moving around the Sunshine Coast, around British Columbia, or beyond. To get on and off the Sunshine Coast, BC Ferries offers daily service between Langdale and Horseshoe Bay and there is floatplane service with Sunshine Coast Air or Harbour Air between Sechelt and YVR, Coal Harbour, Nanaimo, Victoria, and Tofino. Additionally, there is airline service with Fly Coastal Air from Sechelt to YVR, Victoria, Nanaimo, and Courtney along with options to charter flights to destinations of your choosing.

While on the Sunshine Coast, transportation options include BC Transit bus service, taxis, bike lanes, ride sharing with Coastal Rides, the Coast Car Co-Op, and the Sunshine Coast Connector.
