Town of Gibsons

The Town of Gibsons is located just 30 kilometres northwest of Vancouver with all of the advantages of small town living—no traffic jams, low crime rates, and a preserved natural environment—while being within very close proximity to a major metropolis.
Located on the traditional territory of the Skwxwú7mesh Nation, Gibsons is a compact municipality spread over four square kilometres and home to a population of nearly 5,000 residents. Like all Sunshine Coast communities, the access to recreational opportunities are what make this small oceanside community so unique. Boating, fishing, kayaking, hiking, biking, and access to public beaches are all within walking distance—or a short drive— from a downtown that thrives with breweries, restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Gibsons is quickly becoming a hub for unique independent businesses, technology entrepreneurs, young families, and remote workers.
